In the news - lexington silver® is getting noticed -- AGAIN!
Humbled that the Kentucky-Connecticut connections of Lexington Silver were explored by Dan Woog's 06880 blog. Growing up in Westport, CT was a privilege for this Kentucky gal.
------------------------------- In the new series “My Mix,” One Kings Lane explores how their favorite designers and trendsetters embrace personal style, not just at home but in every facet of their lives, to encapsulate their unique aesthetic. In their feature "A Southern Designer's Decadent Derby Party" the talent of Jon Carloftis garden designer and host extraordinaire with his delightful partner Dale Fisher are showcased. However, we (selfishly) thought the best part of the story were the photos showing our Barrel Beakers and our Dog Stirrup Cup as stars of the bar! onekingslane.com ---------------------------------- Delighted that our Barrel Beaker has been featured by The Bourbon Review in their April 25, 2017 online edition. TBR is a great resource for anyone who appreciates bourbon. ---------------------------------- Lexington Silver gets a mention in The Salonnière post about fab friends and neighbors Jon Carloftis and Dale Fisher --------------------------------- Check out the terrific article in The Home Design Magazine of Metropolitan New York, New York SPACES! ---------------------------------- Over the moon with the response from the article on Lexington Silver in the 2016 June/July issue of Garden & Gun. Their great suggestion that a set of six would be an attractive and historic addition to any bar was well-heeded and welcomed by us! ---------------------------------- For more great coverage of Lexington Silver and our barrel beakers see articles in: The September issue of TOPSinLex referencing the Asa Blanchard Collection and a wonderful article in the November 9, 2015 edition of the Lexington Herald-Leader or kentucky.com ----------------------------------- From the 2016 April/ May issue of Garden & Gun -- a wonderful story about our friends, Laura and Barry Crume's antique silver julep cup collection. I love Barry's quote (below) that closes out the story. We agree with his sentiments! “Sometimes I wonder why anyone decided to make a drinking cup out of silver,” he says. “But in my opinion there’s no better way to drink bourbon.” -- Barry Crume TH |
