Hey, Wildcat Fans! Forget Fred & Ginger – how about Bourbon & Ginger! Best when enjoyed in a Wildcat Stirrup cup while tailgating with friends and #BBN.

BOURBON & GINGER

​1 oz. Kentucky Bourbon
Gingerale to taste
Lime for garnish and flavor
1 cup crushed ice

Fill Wildcat Stirrup Cup with crushed ice. Add a generous ounce of bourbon. Top with Gingerale and twisty lime garnish. Serves one.

Mint Juleps are often referred to as the official drink of the Kentucky Derby, but this traditional southern drink is a staple for warm weather. 

Bulleit Mint Julep
 
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup sprigs of mint
3 ounces Bulleit bourbon
1 sprig of mint for garnish
 
Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan and boil gently for 5 minutes; stir occasionally. Pour over the mint in a heatproof pitcher or bowl, gently crushing the mint with the back of a spoon. Chill, covered, for 8 to 10 hours. Strain, discarding the mint. You may store the syrup in the refrigerator for several weeks, preparing individual juleps as desired. For each serving, fill a barrel beaker or julep cup with crushed ice. Add 2 tablespoons of the mint syrup and the bourbon and stir gently until the cup is frosted. Garnish with 1 sprig of mint and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Yields 1 serving
